Dealing with the constant rain spammers.

So recently due to the higher amounts of rains done on ducky , the amount of rain spamming has increased considerably , while bob is fighting the war like john snow did in battle of the bastards , I think it would be a good idea to implement a system where we can ban the obvious rain spammers from catching rain . Another site had a similar system where they would ban a person from catching rains until he aswell would rain at least a certain amount . I can assume this idea won't be very popular , but it might help to decrease the level of spam we get on the eng chat during rainy season.

I would much prefer this sort of system, i don't like muting people who may not have good command of english and don't blame them for wanting to participate in the rain system, especially if depositing users (albeit usually on the lower end)

Being able to ban rain until until a condition is met when it's deemed that person is just trying too milk the rain system, than being a contributing members themselves seems like good idea to me.

I would perhaps like it to be a more community minded thing, though difficult -- or perhaps, after a person has receieved a certain amount of value from rain, they automatically have to rain themselves before they can participate again.

Ask players to make rain I think quite fair, as DuckDice has 0 benefit from rains, 100% of rained amount goes to players.
And no one like flood of meaningless messages in the chat i presume, so sounds like this is nebeficial for all.

The weekly deposit could be an issue , as some would deposit 100 doges , 1 time per week just so they can catch rains etc . The ban on rain until user rains etc , would be simply to stop the ones who literally never contribute to the community/chat , the ones who only write good luck every couple of minutes , to catch some rains . There are countless people who literally the only thing they write , is GL , during a rainy day . And usually because of these type of people the actual good ones miss out on these rains etc .

site isn't pushing anything -- it's just ideas that moderators have, admins will decide to change it or not depending on not just our feedback, but users too! :)

I don't see the harm in making rain compulsory if you want to receive rains yourself? Seems like a fair idea to me. What wouldn't seem fair is saying to someone who gambles perhaps monthly, some of their paycheck, maybe a lot of their paycheck, that for the next month they're not able too to participate. Especially if that person rained quite a lot.

The main concern i have is a in-balance, which everybody must recognize, and although i don't mind a bit of robin hood --- there are a lot of users who basically contribute the bare minimum to the community and to the site, who are able to greatly benefit off the back of people who are generous with greater wagering potential -- i don't mind that so much, but what i do mind is a chat that's effectively polluted with nonsense by people who aren't actively contributing to the community, and are actually making the community worse by filling chat with crap

In case it was misunderstood , my oppinion , about the rain restriction until a certain member actually rains aswell would be only against the ones , who literally only spam to get rain , it's not like all members would have to rain to be eligibile for catching rains , I'm only against the ones who literally only write , WOW , GL , NICE , during a rainy session.

Also , I see it unfair , as we have some members , active ones , who are actively being a part of the dd community , helping improve it etc . Lets say there are 20 people like this , and then come the 50 spamming ones that go only for the rain , and they'll most likely get it , I don't see it fair for the ones who're actually the good apples to miss out because of some who simply spam in the right time . ( this is one of the reasons I turned my rains into tips)

Restricting rains to deposist is not fair. Suppose you pour rain ten times this week and the following week you don't? would it be fair, just because you didn't deposit? I don't think so
