Following obligations, established under the applicable legislative norm of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, and our strong commitment to maintain and provide safe gaming experience, the DuckDice provides its services in accordance with the relevant standards of responsible gaming, in order to exclude cases of gaming while underage, involvement of vulnerable customers and prevention of ludomania.

UNDERAGED MEMBERS

Underaged customers are not allowed to create account and play on DuckDice. All accounts created by an underage person will be permanently blocked, available winnings forfeited and contact details, associated with such account will be entered into our black list.

In case you are an adult customer of DuckDice and have underage in your household you are responsible for protecting your device (computer) and storing your login details in a safe place.

VULNERABLE AUDIENCE

DuckDice does recognise that some people may display signs of vulnerability and require special attention from our team, for detection and minimisation of risks and damages of such customers.

The following customer groups are considered vulnerable:
customers, showing signs of dangerous behaviour, as explained in the Clause 6 herein;
customers, who have earlier applied for self-restraining procedures or have been displaying signs of dangerous behaviour.

MEASURES WE IMPLEMENT

In order to provide the customers with an option to minimise the risks of suffering extensive losses, and to establish the safe gaming space, where players, displaying signs of dangerous behaviour would be able to receive timely assistance, we implement the following measures:

  • Implementation of monitoring, when possible, allowing members of our team to detect signs of dangerous behaviour or communication of the DuckDice customers, using various measures.
  • A set of self-restraining procedures, allowing the customers to implement specific limits on losses, wager, session duration, and account exclusion.

MONITORING

For the purpose of detection of signs of dangerous behaviour we do conduct monitoring of:

  • transaction history;
  • information you share in the live chat or DuckDice mailbox;
  • information you disclose to representatives of DuckDice via relevant communication channels: email, support chat, phone calls.

SIGNS OF DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR

We consider the following patterns as indicating signs of dangerous behaviour of our customer:

  • information, indicating that gaming affects the wealth or welfare of their family;
  • information, indicating that the customers prioritise the gaming over their job, education or family;
  • information, indicating that the customer borrowed the money, or has sold certain property to deposit the funds into their account;
  • information, indicating that the customer has suicidal thoughts;
  • information, indicating that the customer is suffering from gambling issues or ludomania; and
  • any other information, which we may at our sole discretion consider as indicating regarding your vulnerable condition.

The information is considered by our team within the context of customer’s background, taking into account available information, session history and previous concerns regarding their condition.

SELF-RESTRAINING POLICY

As an option, aimed at developing effective self-restrained control, our customers are allowed to:

  • set loss limits in the amount, they consider comfortable and safe for their financial situation and pursuant to their own game preferences;
  • set wager limits in the amount, they consider comfortable and safe for their financial situation and pursuant to their own game preferences;
  • set limits on a duration of a gaming session;
  • apply a temporary ban (self-exclusion) on the account for a selected period of time;
  • delete the account.

Once set, these limits takes effect immediately. Edits or deletions will take effect only after 24 hours, during which changes cannot be made.

INTERVENTION AND ACCOUNT TERMINATION

We may contact you via a dedicated support channel to request reality check, remind you of the necessity to rest and the option of limiting your session time.

In the case we have reasonable grounds to believe that the customer is displaying signs of dangerous behavior, we may:

  • Contact you via a dedicated support channel and propose to either take a rest, or establish a limit on your financial operations or sessions.
  • Put a temporary hold on the account, duration depends on the overall background of each customer.
  • In the case of continuous dangerous behaviour, attempts to restore account before the established restoration date, signs, indicating that the customer, his family, their financial stability, welfare or life is under a threat, resulting from gaming issues, or information that the customer is underage, we reserve the right to apply permanent ban on customer’s account and delete it.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

DuckDice spends extensive efforts and time on development and maintenance of measures, designed specifically for the purpose of Customer protection and early detection of vulnerable users. The core point of our responsible gaming procedures remains prevention of damages, resulting from or related to gambling issues and ludomania. At all times our team is following the highest moral and ethical standards, in order to create a safe gaming space, where people, having detectable gaming issues can be identified and proposed a proper solution, allowing them to understand their condition and re-consider the decision as to participation in such projects.

At the same time, to the maximum extent, permitted under the applicable legislative norms, DuckDice shall not be considered liable for any and all damages, resulting from or related to any act of irresponsible gaming, conducted by an adult person, willingly participating in the services, supplier by DuckDice.
