So where do you see BTC this year?

Part of my day job is keeping track of various assets and making some pretty logical conclusions on price and super curious to know what you guys think the end of year BTC price will look like?

personally, i'm at a loss right now; i'm very optimistic about crypto currency generally, and i think btc price will eventually be in the stars; but given the bearish start too the year, and many pundits expecting the price to crash down under 2000 once more (and i think highly possible), where we go after this bear trend, well, was hoping you guys had some thoughts :D

I see BTC in wallet at the end of the year 😛,. Oh youre not alone with a huge Loss,Just keep on holdin.Im not that expert in cryptoworld but im expecting it atleast in 7k to 10k by september.

I'm quite optimistic but no more planning to sell my Grandma's house and buy some BTCs 😀

Think it should grow a bit and standstill somewhere between 5 and 10k $. If there should be less fakenews by the people who aren't into cryptocurrency ofc.

i'm by no means a expert mharckie ;) it's good to hear some positive thoughts on price by the both of you, though i always wonder whether we trick ourselves / bias ourselves towards being optimisitc as many of us are probably veterans of the crypto space by now

I wanna see it dead. Butt we all know thats prob not gonna happen for a little while. so idk 2000-4500 maybe a 15000 peak.

I think crypto has been following a lot of the same investment trends as the NYSE. When investing in general is low, so has crypto been. Big investors that help move the crypto market are a lot of times the same big investors that move wall street, so i think when the stock markets rebound and move up again, we'll see an increase in interest in btc investments. With the crypto market now more in the public eye, i think a spike upward will be a bigger spike than before, and i wouldn't be surprised if it peaked in the 25k range when or if it does.

I agree with not selling gma's house lol, I think it will get past 10k though, especially when the network hashrate is ridiculously high, required higher electricity costs and equipment costs to mine it, the price will adjust accordingly. the fakenews is getting freaking old

i'm kinda hoping this is a trend that actually breaks; when crypto first started, it was beautiful because it was revolutionary and not tied up into all the nasty of the financial world, clearly that's long gone now, but theirs still some hope it can untie it's self, but yeah, if it performs like a traditional stock market, well thats the pie in the sky btc price

so far mathias has been closest, but now it seems likely we might end the year on something mad, maybe a 20k bitcoin price that actually hangs around, who knows!

I m expecting it to move above 18K by the end of the year but that would need to stabilize the price at current levels 12K for atleast a month of two to move ahead

I think right now we will move back and consolidate around $9000-9500 before a late summer rise to $16,000 - 17000 and above this for the year 2020 :)

I think btc will lateralize a little between $1000 and $1100 but by the end of 2019 it will rise higher.😉

It seems to me that he will repeat the year 2017

well everyone is expecting a bull run which we all know might be possible/ might not be,crypto prices are still unpredictable...depends on how you lay your cards tho.

Rght now btc seems to be consolidating around $10.5 k - $11.5k, if this consolidation can continue for a few more weeks, until the end of July, could be the springboard to much higher sustainable levels...
