Death to Faucet Farmers

Everybody get on your tinfoil hats, this is some Cicada 3301 level shit, I'm about to dive deep, and discuss the wagering system and not so underground faucet farming ring, it needs change, not a lot of change but a few tweaks and it'll be the perfect faucet system.

In my short period at DuckDice it has fun, exciting and thrilling (said no one ever) yet there always been one thing on my mind. Why are these level 0 Anfusicajkl players clapping me at tic-tac-toe my elite big brain stratgies should be working yet to no avail, they're taking our rain, our luck and our 0.01% rolls, and next they'll be taking our jobs! Jokes asides. Let's get into it.

I'l mainly be discussing the qualifed wagering system as I see no issues in actual faucet itself as that's not the issue , the reason why faucets farmers exist is because its easy to exploit the qualifed wagering system. Say you're a extremely bored and dishonest individual who wants a couple cashouts a day what do you do? You get a nordvpn subscription, install a few browsers, deposit $20 and spam high percentage bets until you get your first foot, it's that simple now I'm not saying make high percent qualfiy less, no that's some people's play style and they should not be punished for it, you can gamble however the fuck you want it's your money, but this is what the majority of faucet farmers do to get their first foot, and repeat that across 5-10 accounts now they're getting $7.50-$15 a day in faucets off very minimal deposits. That's for the "advanced" faucet farmers, the rookies' that just make new account and farm $0.015 with no VPN get violently beat by bobs' peni- I mean ban hammer, but as you take down one they just make 3 more accounts out of spite, whatever the reason possibly 50 reds on 15% , i want my decoy back, the fact is they're obviously seeing some sort of profit whether thousands or hundreds it doesn't matter, it's money that's coming out if you're pocket. Now if you're still reading you're probably thinking when the fuck is he going to get to the suggestions so lemme cut to it.

  1. Frequent Depositers, this is your average player no matter the level that deposits daily or 3-4 times a week. These are your key players the backbone of DuckDice the ones that keep the wheels on the road. They're should be some sort of threshold that slows the drop off wager for these players as even when you're depositing daily your wager can still seem to drop increasingly fast. daily and weekly deposits should count to slow down the process of qualifed wager drop off. This could possibly be a set amount for each user which gives a sort of grace period which slows the drop off even by a small amount it gives incentive to deposit daily. What's the point of depositing if you're qualifed wager is just gonna kamikaze itself anyway, you'd rather just let it die then wasting your hard earned coin. I'm seeing people that have deposting multiple times a day and their wager is still dropping fast as fuck. Each paw level should have this wager amount which slows the drop off of wager this gives players a reason to actually deposit daily to try and reach this grace period and give clarity knowing you're not gimma blink and 5% of your wager is gone.

  2. Unlucky Players. Slow the loss of qualifed wager for players that are minus net profit for a specific time period, if you're already getting shit on by Duck your qualified wager fucking off is just rubbing salt in the wound. This will help for the daily users to actually make the reds' feel a little less red. If you're a faucet farmer you're already going to be doing high percentage anyway so this change will be almost exclusive to us normal players who aren't afraid to risk a lil coin for the higher payouts. There's a significant difference between playing high percentage and low percentage when it comes to qualifed wager and you have to actually risk more on lower percentage when it comes to qualified wager. Say for example I'm playing on 1% and I do $1 and I want atleast $100 towards my wager I have to wager 100 times to reach that goal, whereas a farmer can just do $20 on 96.8%, or whatever the fuck it is, 5 times and you've reached that and risked basically nothing, it almost makes you wonder how viable it is to even play 1% when it comes to wager when you can easily just play high percent to get easy wager. This revamp would reward non faucet farmers as me personally last Friday wagered 9k and since then I've lost 7k qualified wager. Feels a bit pointless if I'm depositing and wagering decent amounts and still getting shit on and this would also help weekly wageres to not lose thousands a week when you've already wagered a decent amount. Each paw level can have his threshold which when reached slows the drop off of wager.

  3. 'Risky' Bets. If you really want qualifed wager it's easy to just play max win percentage and from a $100 you can easily get $2000-3000 towards your qualified wager but for players that are actually playing the game for profit and not wager you're probably only going to be getting $600-700 qualified wager off that same deposit so make some motive for the players that are actually trying to get money off the game and not farm wager. To us players faucet farmers just seem like idiots who exploit the easily exploitable system. To fix this there could be some implementation for a 'risky bet' system where 'riskier' bets drop off at a lot slower rate. For example lets say I woke up and my wagered has dropped by $500 to gain that back am I A. Gonna play on a range of 1-70% or am I just gonna do the almost obvious answer of 96% and I don't even have to large amounts I could just play an insanely high percent and even though you're literally gonna be making nothing it doesn't matter as you're goal is qualifed wager, therefore theres no reason to even risk you're money on 1%-70% when there's literally 0 incentive to do that and it seems foolish to even think of doing it. A risky bet implantation would give players incentive to not just play max bet and actually play at the average %'s that get played. Risky bets would drop off much slower than lesser risk bets, this gives a reason to actually play the average %'s.

Would write more but there's alledgely something being cooked up at DuckDice headquarters regarding faucet so that's all for now. By utilizing a mix of these strategies, you can enhance player engagement and retention, ultimately benefitting both your users and your platform. Always take care to balance incentives with responsible gaming practices, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, and point 2 and 3 have good synergy with each other. Not gonna re-read before I post because fuck that. Lemme know what you guys think.

Nobody is gonna read that wtf. I don't like you

I'll try to keep this short:

Gambling at any percentage incurs a 1% house edge and you can very easily lose a lot of money at high win percentages. There's no advantage to wagering at high percentages. Low percentage gambling gives you less wager per bet, but more to wager with when you win. High percentage is the opposite.

Faucets require $20 to cash them out (if you can't get the small 30 cent (4 foot faucets I had) to $20, you're not making anything on faucets. People complain about low foot faucet farmers? Put a cap on faucet use if you're account is in profit overall.

Qualified wager drops pretty rapidly, especially old wager. It's barely worth the time to do one or two foot faucets and zero footers shouldn't even be allowed to cashout (unless they're high level and in major losses).

Faucets don't affect your dice roll outcomes @hallah, you're full of it shit and gambler's fallacy. You insulted DD's probably fair mechanism and they go and lower faucets at your request? Shame on DD.

I put a lot of money into DuckDice and have lost a lot of money so I could get faucets that were actually achievable on some days. I assumed these faucets would remain consistent as long as I kept my wager up. I still can't believe DD did this.

I swear as of posting this, I will not make even one single deposit here again unless the faucets are restored to their original level posthaste. This makes all of my wagering losses here seem like a fucking scam because I did it knowing I'd have some more easily achievable faucets.

I like DuckDice, but most (if not everyone here) loses money over time. I can't believe they lowered the faucets (especially if it was because of this stupid blog post).

Disable zero foot faucet cashouts, lower one or two footer faucets if you need to. Don't fuck your big 3-5 foot players like this. Ban multiple accounts and keep their money. Withold faucet cashouts from low footers in profit.

DuckDice: restore the faucets to their original level and find another way to stop these alleged "faucet farmers" here.

I can't even think straight I'm so pissed off right now.

@hallah even point aside, i think this was the most entertaining read of my week.

Would write more but there's alledgely something being cooked up at DuckDice headquarters regarding faucet so that's all for now.

also, we did it, and most seem to hate it, so feel free to write more

@junkhead faucets were quite consistent since 2016

I like DuckDice, but most (if not everyone here) loses money over time.

no, not everyone, we have earners, too many, hence the update. We will adapt for players who are not them. Bear with us.

Yeah, I was pissed when I posted that... it's all good now that I know the real reason for the changes. I will try to come up with some more advanced ideas to combat faucet farmers and post them in a forum post later.

if u actually read my forum u realis that's I'm literally advocating for players like u but I assume u didn't read it and just wrote ur own opinion, also fuck off stans name was under most recent

Overall wager, level, deposit amount and frequnecy should all play factors into this. Also paw level should provide a minimum amount to restore stability so players aren't getting shit on as it seems many authentic players are

1 Paw - no minimum they can get fucked

2 paw $0.025 minimum - $0.3 max

3 paw $0.08 minimum - $0.5 max

4 paw $0.15 minimum - $0.75 max

5 paw $0.2 minimum - $0.9 max

ur the math guy so u can work it , something along those lines. Note for the high end stuff u really gotta be top of the class A+ student. As all genuine players are in the range of 2 paw and above. If you wanna tackle farmers you gotta make it not worth it for them which is why 1 paw with no minimum is probably the best option. This would probably bring back a lot of the players who claim to have quit. And maybe set it as a weekly thing how it's processed, not sure how you're doing it now cuz bobs gatekeeping the formula for some strange reason - I think players should be able to know but at the same time knowing can lead to abusing it so probably best you keep it under wraps. Area 51 type shit. Lemme know what u think Stan this is just a rough guideline as it seems you're kind of straying from the whole paw system as a whole which is good and bad, has its positives and negatives.

@stan: please give us old duckdice
