Freezing the chat

When the chat goes crazy, it becomes impossible to read. So why not allowing us to freez the chat by hovering the curser over it? I saw this somewhere else and it's smart!!

That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea , well don't know what it will imply backend wise to the admins , but sounds very practical :).

or implement a chat timer, like you cant chat again after 2 sec or 5sec before your second chat. that way we can avoid the continuous chat floods.

just an idea ofcourse....

moderators to be able to hit a ''30 second timer'' during very crazy periods would make sense for me :)
