well you have to master all gods, which means a lot of practice. When you play with different gods you earn more flux for forging. I now have a decent number of cards so I could create decks for different gods. If you can reach the level auric godl and higher, then the payout is much much better for the weekend event

the Blessing of the Gods is over; now we need to carry on levelling up until another event comes to get more Gods token (to forge and buy cards in the market)

remember in order to forge you need 2 cards, Flex and God tokens (which you should have been able to earn through playing in the Blessing of the Gods event.

There will be other events to follow till then, keep collecting cards Mortals :)
