i feel at least 500 usd a week is more than adequate

1k usd is more a strectch than something that we can actually do

Maybe either a certain wager amount or a deposit amount with a lower wager amount? Lets say it was 1k of wagering a week to be eligible for rain, it could be that or 150 worth of deposits with 300 wager. Just throwing random amounts out.

yeah the wagering requirement seems like a pretty good idea.

I am more of a fan of 1, I feel duckdices strength vs other sites is being able to recover from faucets / rains some losses days or weeks after losing from deposits (thinking of people like myself who deposit only a handful of times a month vs daily) -- other sites require a more immediate blood in / blood out

However a lot of people are quite fond of 2) as they do make nearly daily deposits

Rain is generally given by players who are up, which means it is money that is not withdrawn from the platform. Point being that if rain is a revenue center, it might be worth putting the resources into improving the system (assuming that it is likely to result in more rain).

Giving the "rainer" full control over it, by adding diferent criteria in the rain menu, would be an attractive feature in my opinion.

Pontential critera, some already mentioned in this thread:

  • Rain reciever has recieved a rain-giving award in the last X amount of time

    • # of feet

  • On the rainer's friends list

  • Rainer has recieved rain from

  • Im sure other ducks have better ideas

An deposit/wager ratio to receiving rains would be a good idea to weed out the rain/faucet farmers.

+1 should have a minimum depo and a minimum wager target, that i think will be fair for everyone.
