Wait, so are we talking about removing flash bet from the site, or just from the contest? IDGAF about the flash in the contest, but I would literally quit duck if they removed it from the site

Ahh sorry dear, you misunderstood me. I just gave an example to explain that the role flash bets have in the overall game is the same as their role in the contest.. that’s why I made the comparison. And thanks for your kind feedback.
Without flash bets, we can’t even imagine DuckDice.. flash bets are part of the game and they cannot be removed.
OK ducklings, I have a $150 per week budget for the contest, how about we split them equally :
DuckDice Originals: prizepool $75 for both Classic and Range ( NO FLASH BETS)
DuckDice Originals: FLASH BETS ONLY Prizepool $75
DuckDice Originals: prizepool $100 for both Classic and Range ( NO FLASH BETS)
Contest A: DuckDice Originals: prizepool $50 for both Classic and Range ( FLASH BETS ONLY)
again, I'm open to any suggestion
In a bid to make the contest fairer for everyone, I have decided to add the following rule:
🔥To ensure fair play, all bets must be posted within one hour of being placed 🔥
Stale bets or 'stockpiled' entries posted at the last minute will be disqualified

30 Original Dice showdowns ,19 Range Dice battles.... we’ve covered a lot of ground💪
not to mention our 9th Anniversary's special ediction 9% Hunting Contest. 🎯
We don’t just listen; we implement!!!
The Range Dice Exclusive contests (18 and counting!) were sparked by a brilliant suggestion from Btchad. 👑 Massive credit to him for helping us evolve!
Your ideas aren't just heard—they become the game 😎
We’re looking at our UI/UX and need your "Extra-Sensory Perception" on the flow of the site. Should we keep or cut Flash Bet Mode? 📉📈

Yes remove flash bets
Option 1 A
get rid of flash bet for the contests, makes it too easy, takes the "fun" out of it.
honestly idk why it's necessary on the site at all -- anything you want to do with flashbet you could convert into the statistically equivalent sequence of other bets but whatever :)
My vote would be option 1 A
flash should be removed from the contest. flash is only for convenience and to save time. The suggestion Btchad gave in the 15% range should be green wherever they appear. I really appreciate him. purpose of the contest is to make it a bit challenging. If we play using auto or manual rolls, it will consume more time and mostly players here are trying to save time. Flash should be removed.
Yes flash bets is good in terms of speed but if participant did too many rolls it will be a headache for the staffs and also other participants to check. So i say remove it to avoid confussions :)
range dice on mobil kinda sucks , at least on ios its hard to quickly grab and slide the % win chance width adjuster buttons when below 2% because they are overlayed onto the main range control button. also it seems to not go to 0.01 win chance unless you manually enter it. And sometimes that doesnt even work and it greys out the play button intil win chance is set higher.

if one could use a pinch and zoom type motion with pointers set in a verticle indication scale win chance that would imo be a better experience. If you want to be amazing , have it so the location of the element be client side adjustable, able to set anywhere on the screen, giving the user maximum control, accuracy, and comfort.
Final decision reached! 🦆📢
I've heard you on the flexibility vs. fairness debate.
Here is how we are moving forward to keep the contests high-energy and transparent:
Sharpshooter Contest ($100):
Manual & Auto only. (The Main Event)
Allows both Classic and Range dice
Flash Sprint ($50): Flash only. (The Speed Zone)
Allows both Classic and Range dice
To keep the final moments exciting and stop last-second 'stockpile' wins:
Before the final 4 hours: Post your bets whenever! Total flexibility.
The Final 4 Hours: Any bet made during this window MUST be posted within 1 hour of the roll.
Example: As the contest ends at 23:59 UTC, if you hit a target at 20:30 UTC, you must post it by 21:30 UTC
This gives you the freedom to hunt all week but ensures the finale is a fair, live-action fight.
These changes will take effect Starting from next Tuesday, as we need time to make sure everything is in sync.
