self-mute/chatblock button.

Just an idea, to have a way to put silence on urself, or block all chat messages for a specific period of time, so u can concentrate on rolling, or clean up from tons of salt )
And in case u need to unblock it - 2f could be used or smth like that.

He means preventing yourself from chatting, a bit like self-ban but temporary; many users requests mutes from mods for various reasons, maybe they know they'll be pissed off after a bust and don't want to say something they'll regret, or maybe they just want people to leave them alone for a while to roll and feel no need to reply

I think its good idea. but it should be for some specifiic time period. 6 hours, 12 hours & 1 day.

Agree, if this can be implimented user should have a choice of mute time, and if as Bob says a notification about not being "disturbed" would be a cool feature...
