The historical head-to-head looks good too when hosting Mönchengladbach (7th in the league) who’ve not won at the Volkswagen Arena since 2003. Their main goalscorer Wout Weghorst, the T-3 Bundesliga top scorer, is firing all cylinders, scoring in three straight competitive games, and five in the last six. On the other side you have Gladbach’s away form, which has been poor all season with just three wins in nine games away games, and one win in the last five of those. This clash may have been under Frank Lampard, but it is important to note that Chelsea have conceded just the one goal in the four matches under Tuchel, with that goal being an Antonio Rudiger own goal that you would see once in every 100 games. It was an absolute brain fade that relinquished a clean sheet that you could say Chelsea were good for against Sheffield United. Barnsley on the other hand have only scored three in their last five, earning just the two points. They are now closer to relegation than they are the promotion places, and are on the slide.
